    Some Tax Return Goodness

This isnt' quite everything that I've ordered and I have some other parts from before that are going in yet. But I thought I'd take some pictures of what's going into the SE-i this spring. Crank, speed sensor, more LED bulbs, replacement foglight covers, Purge Kit, dual purge hose kit, and Adjustable Cam Gear. I am also working on getting a tri flow cam and the bearings and seals for the crank are laying in my garage.

The oil pan is dropped, but I don't actually want to pull the crank out till I'm ready to put the new one back in, the less time between in and out, the less chance of me misplacing bolts and putting things back wrong.

the instructions that came with the purge kit itself should help you if it doesnt come with its own instructions. its pretty straight forward.

I'm sure it will all make sense when I sit down and take a look at what I have. I just wasn't expecting there to be that many peices to the dual purgeline add on. I just got it last night when I got home so I didn't really have a chance to look at it.

Speed sensor, I broke the arm that holds the bolt on my other two. Those things seem to break with little or no torque applied to them.

Well the short of the story is the bolt holes where the flywheel bolts up are stripped. If I tap them I'll throw the crank balance off.

I think there is about $400 in parts there so far. Doesn't look like that much does it?

You can throw the crank balance off just by tapping the holes? I would not think they would be that sensitive. Still, even if you did tap, where would you then get bigger bolts for the flywheel, eh? Damned shame you stripped 'em.

Actually it's a blessing in disguise, since I get to replace all the bearing and seals and get the new crank rebalanced.

Make the pulley and flywheel are attached when they balance it.

just a note Im sure you already kniow but stand that crank on end. If it lays flat you stand the chance of warpage. The cronk counterweights are offset and heavy so it just may flew on you. Mike

You kinda lost me on that, I didn't understand the last part of your sentence, are you saying the crank is going to warp from sitting? It's pretty hard metal, I can't imagine it would warp from anything short of extended overheating during usage.
