    repainting stock wheels!

Alright im sick and tired of looking at my stock ugly ass rims. I want to paint them so they at least look different. I cant decided what color to paint them?

    Flat black
    Gunmetal

Or what else would be a good color.

There is a pic so you can compare what it would look like with different colored rims.

im not planning on ricing it. Im just sick and tired of seeing these gay ass rims on it, and i think a coat of a different color paint might give it a new look. I cant buy new rims because im a poor ass kid with no job putting all my money into my turbo project lol.

How about pearl black, instead of flat black?

either way the rims will look ugly.

suggestion: not really good but a suggestion nonetheless.
Put a flat black center and keep the lip stock.

a light color of gun metal looks good on those wheels. i remember seeing them in black also, but it looked kinda wierd. i used to have those wheels, i always thought they looked like the ones rally cars usually have on them. mine didnt have center caps, thats why. mostly made by OZ for the rally cars of the style im thinking.
Keep it HONDA. Or at least Asian.™

i say you dump the 3g and turbo the truck in the back there...

Anyway...if you wanna paint the rims why not just put those off to the side somewhere..and find a set of steelies? I cant really picture those painted for some reason. Whatever you do post the results

I kinda like the idea of leaving the lip, and just painting the rest of it black. I did a quick little photoshop job on it just because I'm bored. I tinted the windows too just to see how it looked, and now I think you should tint the windows, lol.

LOL! Thats my neighbors Studebaker. Its his project car. It just sits there he hasent really done anything to it yet. Surprisingly he got it out of storage and it had been sitting there for 30+ years and it actually runs, dont move anywhere but the engine runs!

Hmm, Ill have to think about it. Ill let you guys know what i do with it. It looks like im going to be rasing it this weekend too. I got 2 blown struts in the front and the rears are almost completly gone too. Rides like ass!!!! I dont really want to because the only other struts and springs i have are only 1.5 inch lowering springs.

I second the light gun-metal with caps removed. Doing the lip on 14s makes them look like 13s which doesn't look good at all. If you want to make yourself a project, try tinting your side windows yourself, it really isn't that hard and it lasts just as long as tint from a shop, but don't try that back window, it'll just piss you off.

Why don't you just go to the scrap yard and buy some used teg rims? That's what I got on my car, they look pretty good.

    here's my rendition:
Dark gunmetal wheels, shaved door handles, cleared turn signals/markers.

    You like?

I didn't tint the windows cuz I don't like window tinting. I feel that it hinders the visability, even if by a tiny amount. I have to be 100% connected to my car and my surroundings. If I didn't want to see things full spectrum, I'd put on my polarized walmart shades
