I have got a problem. Since I had problems with my altranator I have been haaving a few problems. When I get the RPMs up to like 4grand my battery light comes on if I shift it goes off but if I dont it will blow out my headlights. Thye just surge and then go out. I need your guy help.
your alt is shot... sounds like the regulator is fried

The alt is brand new. If its broke agian I'm going to go down there and raise some HELL!!!
have you checked your main power wires?? sounds like you have a short or something.

If you can get a multimeter, put it across the battery and run the car. See what voltage the alternator is putting out, then bring the rpms up and see how high the voltage goes. If the voltage goes way up, the voltage regulator is shot. The voltage should stay pretty much constant as the rpms increase.
it shouldnt increase over 14.5v and usually should stay at 14.4v if the regulator is doing its job. I still think its a bad reman, if you get voltage spikes way over 14.4-14.5v then you can damage other things in the car (gauges/radio/ecu etc)

the guys are correct, the voltage regulator can't control the voltage at high RPM. I have seen brand spanking new alternators that were defective, it is very common now days.

I'm going to have to agree with everyone else, it definately sounds like the regulator, I used to work at a parts store, we had it happen quite often on the cheap rebuilt alternators.

Yep, pretty much. Or you can pull the alternator, take it apart and put a new regulator in it. Best bet would probally be to take the alternator back to where you got it, let them test it and maybe if it's still new they might replace it.
If they don't replace it you can just get it rebuilt for probably alot cheaper than buying a new reman. one. But also check your battery connections. Once I had a lose cable and my car would run strange at higher rpms until I fixed it, worth a check.

Dammit this is really pissing me off, the first one I got was crap. This one is good except the the light. It not a hard job to do it is just annoying that I have to keep doing it.
You might consider changing the place you buy them from if you have gotten two bad ones.
