    Boggy and low power (mixture?)

First off, where is the mixture screw on my 87 DX? I think that might be the problem
Secondly its been sucking gas alot lately, but doesnt seem to be running rich, do you think the float could be sticking? I think the carb needs a rebuild soon but Id rather get it working than have to take it off and work on it, its cold out still

1ST MAKE SURE YOUR VACUUM HOSES ARE GOOD
2nd make sure your ignition system is not 1/2 as old as the car
3rd the a/f mixture screw is on the back of the carb next to the coolant line, you need a small flathead screwdriver. Clockwise = leaner
4th look in the float window, the level should be about 1/2 way up the glass

Yeah vacuums are good, ignition system was "redone" with new 4awg wiring all around, new plugs/cap/rotor. Next will be an msd blaster2 and accel wires, but I dont htink thats gonna help my bogging problem

Also, its mostly boggy when its low rpms, like <1300 it'll do it all the time, but sometimes it bogs/hesitates during accel too

A/F screw adjustment would be the last on the list to check...

did you check the gaskets for leakage as well as the vacuum lines?
Also you might want to check your booster venturies... don't just poke at them either... really jar thm to see if they are loose.

Well I redid the timing (as it was stuck before) and adjusted the float level because it was lower than where it should be and richened it up almost 1/4 turn and its got good power and doesnt bog now. Thanks for the links
