    a20a3 rebuild.....

    how much do you think it will cost me to get a rebuild for my 1989 accord lxi ???

    the only way you're going to find out is to call around to local shops and ask them. it always varies.

    Plan to spend around $300 or so at least.

    what exactly consists of a rebuild? im sure i could use it after 200k
    CAI, DC Header/Strut Bar, Pacesetter Exhaust, NGK Wires/Iridium Plugs, Accel SS Coil, Neuspeed Springs/Tokico Struts, SE-i Alloy Rims/Cupholder/Armrest, Reverse Glow Gauges, H4's, Clear Corners/Bumper Lenses

    i have 212k on my accord right now lol soo uhh yea im thinking of a rebuild ...


    dang 300 est. i was thinking it was going to be more than that lol

    like Caleb said, a stock rebuild would cost around 300 to 500 and rebuilding the tranny will be the same, if not more. So rebuilding the whole motor and tranny will cost you anywhere from 600 to 800 or even 1000 bux. I have heard stock rebuilds being done for 1500 bux.

    my "stock" rebuild will probably be in the 800-1500 range... depending on machining cots... but im going to upgrade a few things like bearings and oil pump and valves/springs etc and some headwork and bottom end parts here and there
