I have read much of the discussion to do with other cars suspensions fitting on our cars etc... and I was always really interested in a full body coilover setup for my car.
So i was thinking, the majority of those coilovers at their max height still lower the car about 1.5" on average, and then go all the way down to 3.5" or more.
So, depending on the application, i know that the EF civic and 4th gen accord struts are no more then an inch or two taller then the 3rd gen's.... so, in reality, if you put the coilover in, it would sit at about stock height to begin with, and could still lower the car about 2-2.5".
I know that this could work for the front of our vehicles, but I have not had a chance to look into lengths of rear shocks from other applications.
Now, I know there is one member currently doing the civic suspension swap... So I think it would be awesome if we could get measurements from people who have the cars, or parts of other cars like the DA/DC integra's, the EF/EG civic;s, and the 4th/5th gen accords.
So, if you have any measurements or input feel free to post.![]()
