    Arrow *New LEGACY speakers*

I just got two 6 1/5 speakers for pretty much nothing. the shipping was more than the product. Does anyone one any legacy speakers? If so, do you like them? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWN%3AIT&rd=1

next i want to keep some amp(s) to power these and two 6x9 speakers. which amp would yall recomend?

most power i would put to those speakers is about 30 watts RMS, and even then, i'd be afraid of blowing them... any decent deck can put out sufficient power... even my old sony amp is more than enough to overpower them...

well, they may take 300 watts, for a millisecond at 1000hz... this is how unscrupulous companies can rate thier speakers and amps as high as they do...

i don't think much of the speakers... hell, i don't think much of a lot of the speakers out for cars... i've been trhough too many "good" speakers to consider many of them as really good speakers...

I can;t say i've ever heard anything good about them, and I can't say I would ever buy them.

Wait a while and get somethign better if thats all you can afford right now. And as for an amp to power your speakers, all depends on how much you want to spend.

they sound terrible. My friend had them. I'd wait and buy AT LEAST a set of Pioneers or something.

If you want real cheap speakers, I'd just replace the fronts and unhook the backs. Try some Jensen XS series, 6.5" 2 ways, they only cost about $30 and they lasted me until I got some awesome Kenwood excelon components for the fronts. I wouldn't recommend even using a back speaker other than a subwoofer. Having highs from the back just sound horrible to me, some people like it, but then others don't. If you always have people in the back of your car though you probably should at least get some walmart cheapies for the back ($18 for 6X9s I think).
