Thread: What opens the secondary throttle plate?

    What opens the secondary throttle plate?

    Is it vacuum or is it linkage? The reason I asked is because when I open the throttle all the way (car off) it does not open. I just wan't to make sure I didn't fudge anything up.

    you can convert to manual one, but it will screw up the air fuel ration when you take off.
