Project Clear/Red Update

Well just wanted to upate everyone on Clear/Red taillights I'm making. I decided to do a little experimenting with them. Instead of bright red they are now candy apple red and I just cleared the trunk piece instead of the outside lights because of some sealing issues. Anyways tell me what you think everybody good, bad whatever. The good news is I can do the coupe tails this way also. Wll here are a few pics

JDM lights are so much better to mod though cause you can still keep the external lense.

The 88-89 tails are the hardest to clear beacuse of the outside lenses. I can clear them but because of the sealing issues (water getting into the taillights) I decided just to spray paint them red. I wouldn't want to sell you something you will have problems with. But I can do the trunk lights no problem. Plus you won't have to worry about the leak issues. But they are going for $75 plus shipping......... Thats not a bad price loking at the materials I had to buy plus buying the tail lights themselves plus the labor in doing them.

Yeah I know what youy mean. Its so hard to find a good set of hatch tails without scratches or cracks in them. If I ever find a perfect set I'll just put them away. Never know might use them for a car show or something.
