Sylvania makes legal bulbs for the h4 lights and they are way brighter then the sealed beams

I have the same conversions as in the post above. They have glass lenses and they do not leak in the rain.
One thing I would have done is requested that they send me 55/60 Watt bulbs instead of the 90/100's. The higher wattage bulbs are not proportionally brighter or more effective and were causing my wiring to overheat, evidenced by a "burning" smell from under the dash. It also seemed to cause my clock to randomly reset itself.
I can't remember where I read this, but a 100W bulb does not produced twice as much useful light as a 50W bulb. The higher wattage bulbs also have shorter life span.

blue bulbs are becoming ricer now. every damn guy on the road seems to have it. but the prob is not everyone having it, its the wattage of the blue bulbs that sylvania and GE comes out with . they are friggin 55W. of course its gonna look blue and shitty and ricy as crap. LIke Paul aerodeck has a real HID kit, its worth buying.
besides, read HID bulbs are clean, not blue
and HID blind people.
Alex.
Get Nate's conversion kit. Atleast then you'll get real bulbs and good housings. Those are just cheap tinted housings with weak bulbs (they blow out within the first week, guaranteed).
HID's are the new standard now. Not for sure, but I'm pretty certain that every new car has to have them by 2008 or something (just what I've been told).
