    question for you "part specialists"

    you guys know what the name of the hose that runs from the valve cover to the intake is? isnt it actually called the "by pass hose" or am i thinking of something else?

    Its either the pcv hose (the thin one that is on the top right of the valve cover if you are lookiung at the engine from the front of the car) or air suction hose, but thats a big one and looks wierd (resonator tube on one end), dont be confused (if it is the pcv hose you are talking about), the pcv valce is not in that hose, thats just the vent place.

    EDIT: just saw your post count, if im right you should know this by now. But maybe you are talkign about something totaally different

    breather pipe, and it's quite a few parts numbers, and it doesn't look available under a single PN as an assembly

    the one on the valve cover (on mine ) is a 1/2" ID hose. I just got a foot long heater hose and plugged it in there.

    yeah, the by pass is the little hose that runs from the thermo assembly to the water pump on most vehicals. we may not even have one. and i just got some tubing by thte foot at the local autostore. didnt feel like messing with order'n the form fitted crap. anyway, thanks dudes.
