    Question Help please

    Ok I changed my timing belt and got everything back together, but now when I try to start the car, it just kinda makes a putt-putt-putt sound. Did I not get the timing set correctly when I changed the belt?
    I followed the exact procedure in the Haynes manual. Does anyone have a link to doing this procedure online.

    I thoroughly appreciate any help that can be given on this issue.

    I would say your timing is off. I don't know how to corect the timeing with it off at the gear.

    NEVER MIND

    Im an idiot, I just figured out what happened. I turn the crank clockwise instead of couterclockwise when I moved it the 3 teeth.

    I guess thats what I get for trying to fix it at midnite when I gotta work at 5 am.

    Oh well, I guess I will try it again this weekend and see if I can get it right this time.
