Im trying to get that problem taken car of soon. Basically at 3k rpm's it goes rich and skips so i cant go over that at all. I hit 10psi today in 5th gear and it pulls pretty good i am burning oil and i assume its cause the rings they sent kinda sucked but i didnt want to wait. Im just gonna run it till it dies and hopefully get another block and have it proffesionally built so i dont have any issues and can move on to the body work. So far im happy to be able to drive it but its a big tease since it starts to build boost around 2500 rpm and i have real close gears so i have not been able to play with it much.

Hey, just be strong Rob. You have to control the urge of not stepping on it. YOU CAN DO IT!

did you run oil cooler and an intercooler to keep temps down? a larger capacity aluminum radiator helps alot too. it has to be custom fit but it would save your engine in the long run. run colder plugs if you haven't already and run orange dexcool coolant or honda blue coolant.

Nice vid! You're right about the close gears too. I was cruising on the highway yesterday and the RPM was alway between 3500 and 4000 hehe.

Can't wait to see your car go up to 7k

I should take a vid of my IAB Wheel spin while I still have the stock intake.

Hopefully things will get worked out cause im getting a little discouraged at this point. I drove the car most of the week and it definately would be nice if it was running right and there are a few things that are messed up that are irritating me but i think i can fix most of them and make it through the summer.

If things work out for the summer im going to go ahead and have one block done by a proffesional and that will be it. Another $1300 at this point is nothing compared to what i have spent and i can get the copper o-ring done right and have my head ported and polished and perhaps a set of re-grinds and call it a day with this project. Im thinking of having swan coat my other set of pistons since they seem fine and repairable.

Nice vid. The car sounds nice even if there are a few problems! I guess with all the problems you had, it's nice just to see it driving. I hope everything pans out for you.
