Does this look ok? B20a piston question?

Alright i was just comparing my new pistons to my old ones before i put them in the car and i noticed that the slots for the valves to clear the pistons in the top of the pistons are alittle differnt then my old ones were? Does it look like a big enough difference for it to cause any problems??? Also does the "B" stamped on the top of the old pistons mean anything?

Also does anyone know the torque specs for the b20a

    Rod bearing caps?
    Head bolts
    camshaft caps?

    THANKS!!!!

For the pistons, I really don't know if it matters. I guess you'll be ok since I used B18C5 pistons an they had a much bigger dome. As long as the bore and pin height is the same... You might just get a different compression ratio.

For the torque specs, I guess it's the same as the B20A5. The headgasket will be different tough. Anyway, all this info is available on paul's website where the shop manual is hosted.

If you use those pistons make sure to spin the engine by hand to make sure the valves to make contact. Remember our b20a's have intake valves much larger than any b-series and they are actually the size of H22 valves. I would think if carotman could run CTR ones then they should work but better safe than sorry. If you assemble them make sure to tripple check the ring spacing and ring gaps.
