check this out. here is a pic of an H22 installed. look at the link below the pic also. IMO, too big and bulky. B20 built up is a better choice. even then a 1.8 would be more practical.

    Integral,

The pic posted was done by someone who happened to be around a H22 3g Accord in a local import shop. The pic does not belong to a member's ride IFAIK. No one on this board has sucessfully done a H22 conversion. The picture shows its possible, but no one here has done it. I hope you know what you're doing, and did not just buy the H22 after watching F&F.

    Here is the thread. https://www.3geez.com/showthread.php?t=42713

The members here are very knowledgeable about 3g conversions, so they maybe able to help. Maybe call the number posted in the thread, maybe the import shop can help you (its a Cali number).

Good luck! If you do complete the H22 conversion, please post a "how to" guide to help the rest of us. TIA.

    Peace.

Update: Wait a minute I just read your post again, you say you have a newer CIVIC. What is the make/model of your vehicle? For a newer civic, maybe Hondatech is a better place to look for help.

    Peace.

it should fit into civic without cutting the frame.

You can buy an H-series mount kit for your Civic from Hasport. http://www.hasport.com/Products/Mount%20Kits/egh2.htm

I missed the part in your original post about having mounts. If you have mounts for the thing, what's the problem? Find a 5 speed tranny and drop it all in.

What's that have to do with anything? 93 Civics are hydro, H22's are hydro. It's not a big deal.
