No more then a days work to make it fit ok. If you want it to line up perfect though your going to have to do some cutting and fiberglassing to the bumper. But it looks pretty damn good just using the teg mounting hardware and slightly modifying it.

I did the smart thing and found a used one that was local. If you do that you can pick one up for $100, maybe $200 tops depending on the quality of it.

I decided on the street fighter kit, I am going to use a 90-93 teg air dam, and 90-93 accord side skirts and rear bumper. The front bumper has been easy to find so far, but the rest is going to be tuff. :P

    my 4 cents:

    1) try IMPORTFAN.com. their kits are high quality GTP blue class and their price is the best i've seen on the net. if you want something cheap to cut and mess around with, there's always ebay, lycos, and yahoo auctions. remember these kits are cheap and so is the quality. so expect to get what you pay for. but you can always add more layers of fiberglass yourself if you are good with fiberglassing.

    2) don't get urethane kits. although they may be more durable like the factory bumpers due to their flexibility, they are not easy to mold once cut. any fiberglassing/bondoing done to urethane kits will be prone to cracking/separating due to the flexible nature of urethane.

    3) use 4g accord sedan sides and rear and 90-93 teg front. the 4g accord sideskirts are too long and have to be cut about 4 inches and the door jams of the 3g are not the same as the 4g so be prepared to run into fitment issues around that area. all i can say is cut and refiberglass. also, remember to choose the kit wisely. not all kits flow with the boxy style of the 3gee, and there will be fitment issues that come up if you choose a kit that's too rounded or smaller/tight on the edges. buy a rotary cutting tool, power drill with lots of sized drill bits, and a really good orbital sander. buy lots of bondo products, tons of different grit sandpaper, epoxy glue, fiberglass matting, fiberglass resin, screws/bolts, spray primer, and metal for custom brackets. be prepared to be your own little body shop while undergoing this type of project.

    4) and last and most important of all, if you do not have experience or not willing to invest the time (to learn and experiment) and money (of course) to fiberglass/mold bodykits, don't do it. remember to spend wisely. the tools are only as good as the user. make sure you know what you are doing before you splurge $500+ on a kit that sooner or later you would just give up on. we can tell you as much as we can how we did it, but it's up to you to figure out yourself. visit custom bodyshops, talk to people at car shows, read car bodywork books, etc. remember 3 things in life: "knowledge is power", "if you want something done right, do it yourself", "don't take someone else's words for granted but your own".

peace out peeps and stay cool!! :super:
