I dont know if you guys remember me but more then a year ago i bought a 95 pontiac grand prix.....yeah i liked it but ive been having 2many problems with it. Ive put like 1700 into it... People say i should of kept my 89 sei and just fixed that. well i may want another and ive stumbled across these two...

i agree, since both cars are not that fast, i'd take the auto sei since it's a coupe. get suspension done with some nice rims and you have a cruzer.

I rgo with the LXi 5speed because manual trannies > auto trannies in the 80s.

hmm yah for sure... i think i might like manual depends though, you get a little better gas milage with manual, and more control... the gearing is a little funky when you hit the hills in auto trannie... but if your just driving in the city mostly auto can be nice!! SEi is a sweet choice, i want to get SEi parts for my LXi...anyways

Go with SEI. You can always swap 5 speed into it later. It is easy to do if you have full weekend open.

yeah im thinking about getting the se-i. the cool thing is since my bro used to have an 89 se-i (then i took it over and then sold it because it needed ALOT of work) he bought 16 or 17 inch rims i cant remember but someone stole one when they stole it because it didnt have a wheel lock on one wheel so they robbbed it!!!!arggg well im trying to get a hold of ADR to find out if they still make them so i can buy one...
im actually going to look at a 91 acura integra with a 5 speed tomorrow
