ok first off we need to know whats yr bidget ??? then i assume you plan on doing the standard stuff like head porting camshaft throttle body, bigger injectors and a hopefully by the time you have the cash a reprogammed rom for yr ecu. but seeing as you have a vcarb a weber might be in order.

No no i dont want a different engine but thanks all the same guys. I only want this car to have 150-160 HP. No more. I'm wanting to fix it up to be the ultimate daily driver. But there is the little matter of wanting to make a lot of Mustangs look bad as well. I had already planed on a Kalminari body kit, and Cold Air intake. Can you guys perhaps hlp me by giveing me more info along those lines?

YK86 got the Tri-Flow Cam regrind from COLT CAMS

and a few of us including me have got the weber conversion.

If you get the Kit it make the installation a whole lot eaiser... if you have and automatic then you need to make a small custom bracket for the TV (Throttle Value) cable.

besides actually gettign all those 150 poines on your wheels in a non rebuilt carb car with a 9:1 ratio is pretty good a long shot. i dont knwo where u live, but with a carb in a colder region, well u just cant make enough power. u need warm warm air for that. besides, some of the ppl in here like me, are doing a efi conversion which is a heck of a lot of work and gives u at least 10 horses up front. then u can get higher psi injectors, fuel pump and fuel regulator. u can also get in a CAI. the main reason i am getting a conversion now is cause i cant afford stuff with a carb. u can get a bone stock efi car of your choice 3g for under 300 bucks either from a wrecker or from a federal aution. either way u go, doing a mod like anything serious makes u wiser and more knowledgeable about this fancy lil 3g. good luck and have fun.

Easy believe it or not untill recently non V8 mustangs have been rather weak having only 96-105 horse for their I4 engine and 150 for their V6 infact 1998 was the last year their V6 had 150 then it changed to about 200 also th non gt V8 mustang till 1999 had only 215. Don't believe me check out www.carpoint.com and look it up your self.
