    Unhappy 2nd or 3rd Gen?

    I am a noob to the whole Honda thing. My question was wether or not my Honda was a third gen or second gen. I have a 87 honda accord LXI. I have read that 86' was the first production year for Accords, but then again I have heard that it was eailer like 85' 84'. So when was the first production year for Honda Accords? And what generation is mine considered?

    Ok then well then since mine is a third gen then what qualifies it as a third generation Honda Accord?
