    replaced p/s hose but WTF?

k well i finally replaced my power steering hose with one that doesnt leak, but the one i put on was a little different then the one that was on it, the mounting brackets didnt match up either ( but its on there and isnt going no were) but the problem is that at low speeds like when parking, it is a real bitch its like i have no power steering or something, i have to wrestle the steering, (my girlfriend looks over at me like, wtf your weak ) but when moving above like 20mph its all fine.

    thanx

slowly turn the steering wheel from lock to lock several times while idling. then check your PS fluid level. if it went down you probably had air in your lines

i dont think if u got air in your system it would do this, usually the air bubbles in the system would bubble back on your pwr steering resevoir. is your pwr steering pump okay? cause seems like at low rpms ur sucking bad

get another pwr steering pump from your junkyard, see if it would fit in. besides, u said in ur post here that the hose was not the same exact fit right? u could have got it from a wrecker.

yeah it close to bham, but its also a 1/4 mile track not just 1/8. ill probably go to huntsville sometime, cuz ii do want to see your car.

heres some directions, but if you look at the map it isnt a direct route, you could find a much faster way. and the time is exaggerated unless you go exactly the speed limit, it wont be much over an hour drive.
