    Question Head Gasket

Does anyone know where I can get a copper head gasket for the A20, or something else that would be better than a stock one? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

are you planning turbo the motor?
if you are going NA, stay with OEM gasket.

After going through the pain in the ass negociations and high cost with PAECO I went with a gasket made by Ishino...it has a alot more beefy material around the rings then the other gaskets I've seen. But everyone here seems to swear by Honda OEM for NA applications.

Is it necessary to buy new head studs or can I reuse my old ones?

you can reuse the honda head bolts if they are in good shape and you should only need to go to studs if youre at like 18 psi boost. Copper headgaskets normally require that you use o rings and have the grooves cut in the deck or head. Id just use a stock headgasket and copper spray, if that blows, re evaluate your tuning

    Thanks, that was very helpful.

I just ordered a bunch of official Honda gaskets, I feel safer knowing that I'm using Genuine Honda parts instead of some company I've never heard of. I'm just going to reuse my old head studs when I redo this head gasket when my gaskets get here. I'll post pics when I'm finished.
