    temp gauge acting funny

when i warm my car up the gauge goes to its normal position which is in the middle. Once i start to drive for a bit the needle drops to cold again like if it never warmed up, can anyone help me out and would my car mess up if i kept driving it like that.

Test the gauge by unplugging the sender unit wire at the thermostate housing and grounding it, if the gauge moves all the way up, then it's the sender unit needs to be replaced.
But first make sure your cooling system does not have air inside. Bleed your cooling system first. You can still drive it, but you won't know if it overheats.

my friend's CRX did the same thing. I changed the thermostat, which is located in a really stupid spot. But, it cured the problem.
