    Black to Chrome tint Opinions

I'm actually looking into getting it for the van but very few places around here seem to stock it and I found a thread on the internet stating that it doesn't really hold up well. Does anyone have any experience with it?

This is what I'm talking about:

That stuff is junk Hostile, it fades very quickly. In a year you will have wished you never had it done.
There is another option if you want the "mirror" look. Lumarr makes a high performance metalized film that has a mirrored look all the way through the film, so it doesn't fade into the mirror, it's all that way.
It is more expensive though, we will add $100 to any tint job for the metalized film.
Don't get the fading stuff though, it's poor quality film.

it seems like it should have been black on the bottom fading to chrome by the top... but maybe that's just my opinion!

    those 35s are pretty though

This is what I'm talking about:
    James,

I got my rear quarter windows tinted green chrome fade to black over a year ago. Here is a picture from a few weeks ago. The titnt still looks like it did the day it was done.

Here is a link to the place that did my tint, they are not to far from Maurice, just on the New Jersey side of the river. I have other pics if you want me to email them to ya.

i wanted to get the bronze tint Lumar has, but it does cost a crap load compared to some high quality limo tint. that black to chrome tint used to be popular back a while, but now its kinda not. personally i think the fade tint looks ghetto.
Keep it HONDA. Or at least Asian.™
