    Vortech FPR info

Just a tidbit on these regulators (the ones that 88Turbo uses).

They DO work on our cars (Duh, Justin proved that), however, you need the stock regulator off of an 88-89 Accord for it to fit. The regulators from the 86-87 have too large of a base, and will not fit in the Vortech's body.

The best way to tell which regulator you are chopping up is to look at the part that mates to the fuel rail. if the inlet sticks out with the gasket around it, then it's the 86-87 regulator. If the opening is flat against the regulator with the gasket seated inside it, then that's the 88-89 regulator.

The 88-89 regulator will work on all 3rd gen FI engines with no problems.

Thanks for the info Sabz; was wondering about that, cause I know someone here, I think you, ran into this problem about it not fitting. Now I can do it myself

They allow you to adjust your fuel pressure. If your car is leaning out, or you want to pump more fuel, this is the ticket.
