    Johnny O in a magazine???

Well i was looking threw one of my old magazines that i got from hott import nights when you walk threw the door and i found a small add for fidanza proven parts and there was a pic of a orange evo at the track and in the back ground you see a 3gee hatch lined up against him, and im positive it is johnny o? The pics i took out of the magazine are in a weird file format so i need to figure out how to post them but ill keep trying. If anyone has the magazine look for it. I found it in modified mag hin edition.

that race was the turbotrix's first run of their evo. It was a debut for them. They were not racing against each other, it was just being who was running faster speeds for themselves so everyone got paired with whoever was ready. There was no real pairing like the nhra or other serious stuff. jhonny hit 10s after i left for work that time, and the next year he hit mid 11s and this year i heard he was bearly doing 12s with his new water to air set up.

back to the evo tho, it launched mad hard every single time and was pulling consistant 9s on every run. It was just beautiful. the exhaust was a straight thru exhaust with only one bend at the rear axle before straight exit. it was just purely awsome. I still got the video of those races and of the evo on my mini tape, i wish i had a digital video so i could have put them on my computer.

it's not often you see a car still keep its stock shape and be a serious drag racer. that's a nice evo indeed. i like the new 2006 eclipse gt too. i like that sunset orange pearl they have for the '06 eclipse.
