    finally got some subs..

    well i finally got my new amp and subs.. very nice to have them they sound excellent!... i went w/ a phoenix gold amp i bought off a friend for 75.. Octane-R R2.5:2.... 2 channel.. 150w rms , 250w peak.. and got two 12" kicker subs w/ a nice kicker box.. the speakers are 150w rms, 300 peak so they are a nice match and those thing drop hard after i broke them in... i'll get some pictures up sometime. anywho i went over quality over quantity... these things sound killer, nice clean crisp bass that sounds really nice in, and outside of the car... i went w/ the kicker comp C124 they are killer for the price...

    *edit* eventually.. when i get some nice 6x9's and crossovers i'll get a new nice amp just for my subs, and then use my phoenix gold to power my component speakers...
