Anyone know how to wire up a amp fan?

I bought an electric Stinger DC Brushless Fan for my amps. Except there are no instructions. There are 2 wires. One is red (positive probably) and the other is blue.

I'm confused if that goes to the remote wire or what. It would have to need a ground some how right?

I asked the guy I bought it from at the store and he didn't know.

if red is positive then blue cant be remote

there needs to be a ground

    bingo.

i wouldn't put the fan right on the amp remote wire, though. i would, however, use a relay that is controlled by the amp remote wire.

just for future reference, you can run a fan from 2 varied positive voltage sources... quite computers sometimes run the fans at 7 volt but connecting the positive of the fan to the 12v and the ground to 5v, thus there being seven volts difference between the two sources...
