if i make clear lights do i have to change the bulb or can i leave them white

i have a 87 accord and ima make clear taillights but does that mean i have to buy colored bulbs

you may have to check with the law in your state.
i would say change, go with LED lights. they are white but when the power applied to them they glow in yellow, red or anycolor you can get them.
