    Short Shifter Question

I just got a Pacesetter short shifter. It is used so there are no destructions with it, I know how to install it but not how to adjust it.
So do I want to adjust the ball all the way to the top of the shaft for shortest shifts? And vise versa for normal throw shifting....?

if you compare the stock one and pacessetter one, you will find that when the ball on the pacessetter is set to the lowest part it still gives you shorter shift.
start with the ball on the bottom
if you think it is too long adjust it a little higher.
the bad parts is that you have to remove all that stuff if you want to readjust again.
    Alex.
