Check this out. I was bored and searched the net and found this. I wonder what it took to get that b16 to work. Looks like it came that way. Too bad I can't see where I could email him to ask questions.

that is freaken sweet
mmmm.... cleaness...
I went to the Philippines when I was little. It was cool, there didn't seem to be any rules on the roads, you could drive whatever you could get to run.
Perfection is simply a matter of replacing parts.
wow, fillipines? wouldve never guessed.
3geez for life.
that is what a swap should look like
well if it's in the fillipines..it wouldn't take much to get it to work..cuz they come with b20 stock i believe..so you can use the stock axles and motor mounts should be the same...so really it's a plug and play game..pull the b20, drop in the b16..
thats if my knowledge is correct and the fillipines have the EDSM models..

WTF? B20 motor mounts are not the same as B16 mounts.Originally Posted by 3rd GEN

LOL.......The B20A uses the same mounts as the USDM A20A with the exception of the rear mount. I would guess you can use another honda drivers side mount and realistically the tranny mount and the rear mount are not to bad to fab or modify.Originally Posted by SteveDX89

Heh...sorry to barge in....actually it not that hard to swap a B16A into a 3G....all u need is a good donor...in my case...i chose an Integra DA6 fronts to be my donor...this is becos i could use most of the stuff that came with the front...such as the driveshaft, brakes etc etc....my car use to roll with a A20A...ive plonked in a B16A last year....three mountings need to be relocated....both the side and the front mounts...we can still use the existing rear mountings....as for the DA6 halfcuts...i use the driveshaft, meter clusters, gear linkage, brakes, radiator and watnot that can be slotted in.....ehhehe...took me a whole 2 months for the hybrid to be completed....and it was a good 2 months....included are some pics taken halfway during the swapjob...it may look crude but it passed thru acid test and reliability test with flying colours...yes yes...some asked why i didnt get a custom mountings....but for me to ship them from oversea will cost a bomb....ehehheheOriginally Posted by MIK3

ps..looking at the other member's ride's spec sheet (specially the Accord Of The Month) made me feel that my B16A is inadequate :P...anywho....long live 3G....

B16's are inadequate for a lot of what's out there now. Many people are sticking the B18's in there now. However, compared to an A20, it's no contest. You now have a much better starting point for a motor buildup.

cool
i was thinking doing the same think using an ek tranny mount and brack then refitting my left bracket to a gsr right mount. did you try to front to lower mounts?

JDM model, or are those custom headlights?
they no longer make DC strut bars, unless you get lucky and find one online.
I'm your local R&D nut. Fabracting, welding, tuning and breaking my stuff so you don't have to.
His profile says Malaysia. That's probably a JDM market.Originally Posted by 2drSE-i
