I think they look nice. But I wanted to know what y'all thought. I've never seen the 3g with them so just was trying to find out what they would look like.

I was going to use loop tape. Like what they use on the none shoelace shoes. That way it would stay in place b/c it would grip the carpet.

Heh, you confused the hell out of me when you said loop tape, heh. I now have a new word to add to my vocabulary. However, I'm not to big on diamond plate floormats. For me, I try to keep it as simple yet appealing as possible.

That's got to be the cleanest living DX I've ever seen.

Just go to a welding supply store and get the actual diamond plate. 16guage. Much cheaper then buying it from home depot. Then trace your current floor mats onto the metal cut and bend to fit.

on the instructions for my car bra it talks about "hook and loop" and even describes it

"hook and loop is a very strong fastening material used in place of snaps and zippers. mating pieces can be atatched and separated from each other manty times. The tearing sound produced when separating hook and loop will not damage or weaken it"

haha well in this politically correct world I did not want to show favoratism to one company over another. Seeing as though velcro is not the only brand of hook and loop tape on the market. :p
