    JDM Corner Lights

Well i got my JDM corners in today, bad news is i wont be able to get pics until next monday (a week from this monday). But i have a question, do i need to replace the plug that they (the JDM corners) came with to get that 2nd light thats on the side to light up? I noticed that the USDM corners have the lights on the side as well, but those wouldnt like up either.

So my question is, what do i need to do to get the sides to light up?

im probably being laughed at by some of you that read this lol... o well, part of learning.

I replaced the every wire with my own wiring. I basically just used the shell of the corners. I used my existing wires and bulbs so yea.

lol busted that didnt help me...

i just used the housing with the stock wiring/bulbs... but the actual light itself thats in the bulge on the JDM corner doesnt turn on, why?

All the wiring is good, the plugs are also good... they didnt turn on even when i plugged in the JDM spec wiring setup... so im a little lost here lol

you probably cant see it, even on USDM ones, its hard to tell when their on thru the reflector during the day. try it at night, u will be able to tell

all i know is when i put in my blue bulbs, (right now i have 1 clear, one USDM) i cudnt tell at all during the day thru the USDM one, but at night, it lit up this horrible color of green (orange reflector + blue light = ugly, but i thot it wud be, im waiting for my paycheck to order another pair of clears) try it at night dude!

that is strange..perhaps your bulb is out?

here is a pic of my jdm corners with the USDM wiring.

There could be a problem with the wiring. Did your USDM ones light up? There are two bulbs..one for the white and the orange. Which one isn't lighting up?

Yes, the orange bulb in your pic is the one thats not lighting up on mine... when i swap that bulb for the one up front, the bulbs fine... maybe the plug is toast? Should i cut/splice the plugs off of the JDM part that i recieved? No, the rear light on the corners did not work with the USDM either, i never thought about it before... but maybe the plugs bad? but on both sides?? a little awkward.

I thought it might come on with hazards or turn signals, but i havent tried... when i get home on saturday ill test it, and if it doesnt work, ill just splice that line into the other one and cap the ends. Theoretically it would work. I also bought some xenon bulbs... although i only grabbed one set, ill have to get another when i get into town again.

yeah, the side light is controled by the box under the radio (the one that chimes when your door is open)

yea well... i took that out lol, so i now have my answer...

i do alot of work with the drivers door open so i decided to pull that box... i REALLY dont want it back in so i think ill splice those bulbs into the other lights and call it good... or would this be a bad idea?

from what i saw, the speaker was on the bottom half of the Mother Board type thing, so i couldnt just disconnect the speaker. I tried that, but couldnt get the MB type thing out.

I think ill end up just cross wiring them, but ill look at the box first... see what i can do.

    Re: JDM Corner Lights

You won't strike gold in a junkyard. Those different markers come from Japan.
