    Exhaust flanges

Quick question I am having my pacesetter exhaust installed this weekend and I realized something about my converter the flanges were cut off and the pipe is welded right onto the cat now whith me installing the bigger pipe is this going to be a problem or should I be fine just to have the guy weld it right onto the cat ????

Probably is a universal replacement cat?
Anyways looks like you may have to do weld or you can make a slip joint on a straigh segment of pipe, it may create a small leak though.

So you think if I just welded it onto the cat it would be fine I can't have a leak

It should be close, our flange however is offset on our stock cat.
