Polyurethane suspension kit?

Anyone know where I can get a poly bushing kit, for the front end of my '88 Accord? I'd like to replace the radius rod bushings and the control arm bushings. Neither ES nor Prothane list an application on their website

I don't think anyone does... I'm having the same trouble... Did you find anything?

I'm thinking of comparing Honda part numbers with other models at www.slhondaparts.com I just don't have that much time on my hands.

the aftermarket radius rod bushings are over 2x the stiffness of the stock ones im told. Do a search for radius bushings and you might find a thread about it... i think there was one

What color were the moog bushings? and were they expensive?

Prothane actually came through with it then. Been a looong time since they requested parts for the development. Too bad it's a pretty small selection of bushings.

radius rod bushings were blue, everything else was black. the bushings for the rear suspension were expensive because there's so many of them.

WOW! I sent them the parts in exchange for a kit when available. I got some (only 2 I think) of the listed parts and a universal sway bar kit long ago, but not all of them and they didn't even let me know about more parts being available. Why would they come through with the kit and not tell their target market??? A bit difficult to sell stuff that way. I sent them an email.

Those urethane bushings should make a drastic improvement in the handling of the 3gee. I'm hoping to order a kit soon to really complete my suspension setup. I'm thinking of changing my Sprint springs too. I feel the drop is too much that there's only about an inch travel. With bumpstops, you're pretty much sitting on them when you have weight in your car and you dont have any spring dampening when you hit bumps. What do you guys think of the Eibach sportline and pro line kits? I have 2.25" drop Sprint springs with Koni shocks right now in case you didn't know. I was thinking of raising up to a 1.5"-1.75" drop so at least I can get some suspension travel.

I have Eibach 1" drops, and revalved Bilsteins. I have plenty of travel and good comfort too. Not a radical drop of course, but fine for me, and I don't have to worry about camber adjustment. BTW, I was in Brooklyn last weekend, and roads were incredibly bad. I spent a lot of time steering around pavement heaves, potholes, raised manhole covers, and just plain shitty paving jobs. I had one passenger in the car, and at the time remember thinking that I was so glad that I had some suspension travel. I just don't see how a local with a slammed car can drive in that place on a regular basis without beating himself or his car to death.

if i am not mistaken, 2G teg front suspension is almost identical to 3G accord front suspension. somebody who works at autoparts store should compare bushings between those two cars.
