    Wheels

The 3 wheels I have subtly decided on using for my car are all fords.

    Choice 1
    Choice 2
    OR
    Choice 3

They will either be painted flat black to match, or bright white to counter the car's flat black paint.

I know the bolt pattern is different, 4x108 for the first 2, not sure about the 3rd. But that doesnt matter.

You guys know how aftermarket rims usually ship with 2 bolt patterns right? Theres 8 holes, you use the only 4 that match? Well this will essentially be the same idea, redrilling these to fit my honda. Something kind of unique, subtle and not 13" steelies. They will be wrapped with Proxes T1-R's.

What do you guys think? (They will be revealing custom brakes, 2" larger than stock on the front, drilled, and discs in the back drilled. Hopefully keeping the same size in the rear too, and just changing the pressure going to it. But that comes later)

What do you think would be best? White or black? The car is going to be painted by me, going for kind of a rat-rod look to it. Giving it a modified look, but not giving it away, so hopefully I can pounce on something juicy when they dont expect it.

I'm leaning more and more to 1 myself.

isn't your accord 4 x 100? Focus rims are 4 x 108, how are you going to get them to fit?

but if you find a way they will look good.

most aftermarket rims are engineered to have 2 bolt patterns, when you drill into rims you could be making a big mistake.. ie kinda like drilling into a stock flywheel. set off the balance of them. IMO save yourself the trouble and just buy a cheap set of aftermarket rims.

PS i hope you aint doing this project(drilling) yourself.

I'm partial.... the first one is the optional Focus ZTS/ZX3 Wheel. I like them, I have a set for my Azenis tires. They are about 1.5Lbs lighter than the factor Double 5 spoke. The second wheel, is F'n ugly. It's the factory alloy on 04+ Foci, the last one looks to bland. I'd go #1 then power coat the spokes and go polished lip.

On the subject of getting them to fit..... The first two are a fairly soft aluminum, I don't know if you can redrill them. I'd be scared that the wheels would bend because of getting to hot when redrilling the new holes. I wouldn't chance it. You money, your wheels, your choice. Good luck.

i dont like any. ford rims on a honda is wierd imo. but it's your choice man. if you want something subtle and not too fancy, why don't you get some oem integra/civic rims. perfect example: civic hx rims. that's just another option to think about.

out of all those, i'd go with 3, and i'd go with black, none of those will look good in white. the first one kinda looks like integra ls meshies.

I wish, I wanted a set but its impossible to find any somewhat locally, I dont want to pay out the ass for shipping.

And yes I will be redrilling myself, I'm aware of all the problems, but its another one of my projects.
