    Hub Assembly Question

I'm sorry if I'm in the wrong area, but I wasn't able to post in any of the one's that pertained to my question. I was wondering if on Honda's you have to turn the hub assembly the opposite direction to remove it? I'm trying to replace my rotors and I can't get the hub assembly off, it's like there is the tread lock stuff inside of it. My cousin said that Honda's don't follow the righty-tighty, lefty loosey rule. Is this true ? I didn't let him turn it that way because I tried that earlier. But when I tried we didn't have the socket for it, we were using a wrench. Should I have tried the opposite way ? My cousin is usually 50%, either he's got a bullseye or totally misses the target by a mile and in this case I'm thinking that he's way off . I left his garage and now I'm wondering if we should have tried the other way . I was gonna start looking for an impact gun to get it taken off , all replys are welcome.

if your just replacing the rotors then all you have to do is remove the wheels and then take out the retaining screws and the rotor will slide right off. If there is any rust you may have to hit the rotor a few times to get it off.

I forgot to say you have to swing the caliper out of the way first then the rotor will come off. And if you are removing the spindel nut turn it counter clockwise to remove it after you bend the tab out, but it doesn't have to come off to change the rotor.
