    want a 1989 accord sleeper

Hey waz up I just bought a 1989 accord dx for 300 dollars and don't get me wrong it moves but I want a sleeper, so I was wondering what would be a good engine to put in that I can get without to much trouble that would fit with least amount of work w/o changine everything the most I would like to change is the engine mounts.
    thank you
    Wally

plus remember you have POS carb motor. you have to convert to EFI or go with stand alone management.

    step two save more money.

    step three save more money.

step four faint in shock at what a decent setup costs and go back to save more money.

and to cater to your question: said engine does not exist. the closest thing to a good engine without trouble is the jdm B20a. the other b-series require mounts that are no longer in production, so custom mounts would have to be fabricated. i would suggest that you convert to efi and turbo the a20 if you want a quick 3g w/o a pain-in-the-rear time trying to swap in any engine with decent aftermartket support.

And Welcome to the Board! ; )

Okay...this is news to my very sad ears now. I have a b18a in progress. where would I go to have mounts made?
