anybody else havin a problem with gettin their spark plugs to ge in straight? 3of the 4 in my car in crooked and feel stripped. I pretty sure its causing misfire. It tried over and over to try to get them in straight always end up wrong anybody got any ideas or know somethin i dont?
Are you threading them in by hand most of the way?

The spark plugs in these engines will not sit straight from the factory.
When you look at the front of the car, they are supposed to be like this:

no im not hand threading them cuz the engine was still hot when i put them in and yes the do look kinda like that / / \ \ let me double check i'll try that if i did mess up thnx for letting me know that. They get tight when i tighten them but dont look like they r in all the way and when i thighten them more they get loose again like they r stripped....and the rpms are all over the place when the car is parked and at idle they go to normal rate and drop and back up again so there is a misfire goin on
man i was messin with the far left plug tonight tryin to get it in right and i think i really fucked up the plug hole. while tryin to get the plug in the right angle(/ / \ \) i accidentilly goin down and i couldnt get the plug to go back in the original shitty postion so i had to force it in and to go in further. I started the car and it runs even worse then before im supposed to take it to the shop tuesday to get all the plugs checked but i think i really screwed this one up. Is it gonna be hard to fix??? are the going to have to tap the hole or use some kind of torque wrench to force it in the right way??? Im real nervous about it now. I just got this car and im already tired of it.
they can helicoil the holes if they have to NEVERmess with the plugs when the motor is hot it's an aluminum head and you can really mess it up good. just make sure that whoever fixes it knows what they are doing.they make a thread chaser tool that will clean out the threads of all the carbon and junk screws in like a plug. always screw in the plugs by hand until they are started good. don't feel bad people have been cross threading plugs since the dawn of cars. that's what they make helicoil kits for.
yeah its a bitch tryin to hand tighten the plugs cuz they r in there so deep its a small space in there

always start the plug with hands first, and never overtighten them.
if they don't want to go in, don't force them or you will screw things up even more.
