    Disconnected pipe/hose.. Eh?

I noticed a few days ago that there would be this weird sort of vibrating sound coming out from under the hood whenever the radiator fan would be on. Like wires or something plastic was getting in the way of the fan and would be knocking about when the fan was on. Anywho, i finally decided i should open the hood and i found this:

I'm guessing it's a really simple fix, nothing serious. I can just connect the hose right back to the opening in the top of the picture right? That's where it goes?

If it is, good, i knew that. And i'm going to plug it up there anyway later today after the motor cools.

Also, can anyone tell me what that hose goes to, and what it does?

    All help is appreciated. Thanks!

    Edit:

You have the right place just put the hose back on the heat shield. It is used to help warm up the carb by pulling the hot air off the exhaust manifold.

That little thing was tricky for me to put back, very little room to get my hand in there lol, it came off when I took off my air filter unit.
