haha, that's the spirit. stick it to the man.

and i want an eq too. but i'm slightly leary. i just put in some new speakers last night/this afternoon. pioneer 5 1/4" in front and pioneer 6 x 9 4-ways in the rear. had a hell of a time w/ the dremel-like rotary tool shaving the oem speaker brackets to fit the 6 x 9's. but it sounds much better than the ones that got replaced.

op: looking good. do you still have the other eq that you didn't put in?

yeah but the cable for the EQ was used for my line in/out adapter so it's not usable anymore

i've seen a few people saying they have theirs for sale so you might be able to pick one up if you put in a request in the wanted section

what i was doing was cutting the surface on the knob and putting a knurl on it. if you want to see the finished one look at my car domain site, i made it slightly oversized so it was eaisier to turn without taking my eyes off the road.

Man. I really do wish that I could afford a MIG welder and a lave. I thought that that would be what you would use. I also want to enroll in a TIG class as well as an Auto Upholstery class at tomball community college. Oh well! Barely have enough money for car parts much less classes to learn how to use them

why not apply for financial aid through the local tech school? that way you could take some classes and learn how to do some of this stuff. i wish i could afford my own lathe instead of depending on the whims of someone else as to when i could use it,but i work with what i've got. when i finish school thats one of my goals is to get some used machine shop equipment of my own.
