Just looking for confirmation that brake fluid on the booster is most likely a sign the master cylinder needs to be replaced.

It's either a leaking master cylinder or a leaking reservoir.
Mike
Thank you. Anyway to differentiate?
A leaking reservoir will get fluid on the outside of the casting. The MC will frequently leak from the shaft seal at the back an seep through directly onto the booster. A leaky master cylinder is a pretty commmon problem on our cars. I got a remanufactured one that came without a reservoir and now that's where mine leaks...slowly. Clean it and keep an eye on it to find the source or just buy a new MC that includes a reservoir and be done with it.

Thanks again, Mike.
