wow thats nuts- i'm guessing its custom made, but did you make it? is that how the turbos have to be positioned for our cars in order for it to work?

Yeah, the pipes arent that straight.. You might not be getting as much flow as you could be with straighter pipes.

EDIT: Or should i say "smoother bending" pipes with less bends. They can't relaly be straight otherwise they wouldnt fit.

I think he was at the CT meet last year? So his car may have been on those pics, but I think he pretty much kept to himself.

i have a question about that.... do small turbines spool faster and has a faster response? whereas a bigger turbine takes longer to spool and has more lag? .. small turbines less power then bigger turbines? or just my stinkin head thinking wrong? . . . or is it the internals? anyways.

would the manifold look better or worse if the welds were smoothed out? i still like it no matter what. id jizz all over it while it was hot. LOL.

    nope your dead on!

a larger turbo, with more lag, and slower response times will flow more volume (CFM) than a smaller turbo at any given boost level (PSI).

so a DSM 14b at 10psi will put out a lot less CFM (which equals power) than a 20G killer at 10psi, but the 14B will spool up way sooner (also have much worse topend obviously) and have better response.

the small turbos like that one were made more for fuel economy then power, but they can be 'tuned' to produce power especially when its used on an NA motor. They wont produce tons of HP but will give you better response in the low end.
