    if vigor bars fit, what about aftermarket vigor bars? 9or do those not exist?) are they bigger than aftermarket 3g bars?

    Re: Sway bars

    mmhmmm. from the pics you posted earlier of the rears on the sides, it looks like it attaches to the bolt that goes through the back that holds all the little stabilizer bars on, which is the same attachment between drum and disc. so why exactly doesn't it fit?

    and on another note, are the addco, legend, 4g aftermarket, or vigor rear bars bigger? i've seen talk about all four, but no real definitive answer.

    well you can get a 22mm rear for the 4g, so i say that wins in the size department

    Re: Sway bars

    hmmm, so that'd be almost as big as a stock 3gb lx-i front. i know bigger isn't always better, so how would that fit in suspension-wise and affect steering with using the st front bar?

    well it would make you much less likely to understeer

    i wonder what would happen if somebody threw in a 22mm rear and a stock 3g DX front....3g drifto anybody? :-p

    stock = 13mm
    addco = 19mm
    legend = does it even fit?
    3g ST = 16mm
    4g ST = 22mm
    vigor = 16mm

    Re: Sway bars

    hmmmm. very interesting. looks like a full st set will probably be good enough for me unless i go to make this a true competition vehicle.

    btw, does the 4g st front fit as well or just the rear?

    The caliper is in the place where the end link previously occupied. I think I can just move the bar a little lower and attach it under the bracket or use only one bushing between the bar and the bracket. I've been to busy between work and college to have time to get out there and play with mounting it different ways.

    I would like to see some pics of that once it is done. I saw that it wasn't going to fit and I just did not have the time nor patience to make it work. I am really happy and satisfied w/ my 4g ST rear bar. The chronic FWD understeer is gone and I can actually get the rear to come around and rotate if I so wish to.

    Re: Sway bars

    I looked at the addco bar tonight and got some ideas but I should be able to make it work reasonably easily. I'll have to do some test fitting when i have time to move the jack stands to the rear suspension so it will be compressed when I'm fitting the bar. It looked like I might need to trim a little off of the dust shield but that was it.
