    nissan spoiler

several people have asked about my spoiler it's from a late model nissan altima i'm not sure of the exact year. in order to make it fit on the hatch, the end mounting points need to be filled in and painted, then it needs to be raised up in the center, this allows it to clear the rear wiper. I spent a long time looking for a spoiler that looked right, this one actually matches the corners in the hatch, a lot of people think it's factory. if you can do machine work this will be a piece of cake. the only tricky part is lining up the holes so it's tight, but you can still fish the wires through. those are solid aluminum posts. the main problem is that it blocks the rear brake light and the led brake light in the spoiler doesn't pull enough current to keep the brake warning light off. i just installed a bulb inside the hatch to pull some extra current. hope this gives someone else some ideas. i know,my right tail light is different, some idiot hit my custom one on that side.

Yea, i hadn't put all the inserts in them or anything i had just put on the clear lenses, I came out of Walmart and it was all smashed. I've lost a bunch of front marker lights the same way, they are the same height as shopping cart edges. maby i need some of those wire guards like on off road trucks if anyone can identify the year of that spoiler let me know, i would like to get a spare. it's nissan Maxima spoiler. i did notice that it has the same shape as some late model accord spoilers, it's just raised to clear the wiper arm. another thing i have had people tell me is that can't figure out how i raise the glass? they think the spoiler is in the way, they don't know the entire thing lifts up.
