    More Progress......

so in between work and working on other peoples cars after work i still find a little time to do my own stuff. so since last thursday when i bought the car and about a week and a half later on a sunday after noon this is what i have come up with . from this

    to this

    and now this....

basically everything is already done. just gotta have the support tacked down. its bolted together right now. gotta recharge the AC system for sure. and then sand it down and get it ready for paint. !!

that's cool mario. it just looks like a DX with those unpainted bumpers. such a nice car though. did you get black rims with a polished lip? i'm not a fan of all black rims unless they had a nice polished 2-3" dish lip. all black to me gives it that steelie look and unjustifies the point of having rims if you are just going to hide it with a black color. anyways, wish you were here man, to help me fabricate these custom b-series mounts since you are good at welding.

nah the car is a dx. i have just swapped out all the guts from the LXi and stuff. it started off and carbed and no power anything. now it has windows and locks and fuel injection.

the rims are all flat black. no dish on this ricer cause im doing everything light weight. when I get ready to paint this new car i will prolly put dished rims on again. gotta love those. so im seriously considering, although this grey that is already on the car is super clean, about going with that mother of pearl cadillac white.

oh and im not good at welding. my mentor is. im just learning.
