    Unhappy Mr89AccordLXI is for sale!

    This is for real, not a joke. I want to buy some other stuff, and pay down a few things, so I'm going to sell it. It won't be easy, cause I won't let it go to just anybody, and I want a certain amount for it. I love the car still. But I'm only doing it because it's in my best interest. I would like to show it one or two more times before summer is over though. It's garaged and is in excellent condition, those of you on here who have seen it, know that. So I'm just making it known, and if any of you know anybody, let me know. Could take me few months. I also may try ebay. Couple of my dads friends are interested in it for there kids. This is how I am with doing this,

    Sorry to hear that man. That car was one of the first 3G's I saw online once I made the decision to begin my car's metamorphasis to something unknown.

    So there's no way for you to be able to hang onto it?

    just make sure you sell it to someone who will take care of it. that's the most important thing.

    hehe, well a year ago I wasn't going to take less than $10K for it. But time go's on, and I realized a few things. Around here from the right person I can get $7K for it easy. For what it's into it, and the condition it's in and low miles, no prob.

    Cars are hella expensive around here. Damn Boeing and Microsoft.
    I see 3rd gens all the time for over $6k so if he waits long enough somebody will pay it.
    There is one on autotrader right now with 35k miles for $14995. If you don't believe me go to autotrader and do a search for 3rd gens within 200 miles of the 98273 area code.

    Mike's car is nice enough that I would pay 6 grand for it. I got $5k out of mine with almost twice the mileage.

    I think it is somewhere between 110k and 130k miles. I know it was just over 100k when I met him.

    It has 130,000 miles on it. If I sold it for $6K then I would take the stereo out except the head unit.

    $6,000 for your car? Yeah right!!!! All it is a more or less stock 3g with lowering springs, stock struts, new paint, exhaust, spoiler and wheels and some very minor engine mods..these mods more or less add NOTHING to the cars overall value..and you want 6k from it? It has 130,000 miles on it! Yeah it might be your area where you can sell it for that much....but jeez, the car is still 13 years old!

    But, its the flash I guess that people pay for.

    I won't have a problem getting what I want for it. It's the originality that people will pay for. It's not your typical done up civic or lude. 130,000 miles for an 89 is damn low, just ask everybody on the board what mileage they have, lol. The average will be much higher than mine. The interior, exterior, trunk, engine bay have been kept in amazing condition.

    BTW Nate, just my engine mods alone cost me $1000. My sunroof I added was $500. Sure you don't get it back, but I'll get a small percentag of it back you bet. You might want to look at my mods list on my page again, heres the link since you think I have a few mods, lol. http://www.89accord.com/mods.htm

    At any rate, it will sell. I know Nate, it's hard when your behind in the game, you know having 2 mods. But it takes time, and with your new business you might be able to get some decent wheels, and maybe upgrade from DX to LXI?
