    vent removal

    anyone know how to remove the two outter air vents? I'm thinking about 'glassin some tweeter pods and putting them where the vents go but i need to remove them first (without destroying them)

    I dont know how to remove them, but why not build up your A-pillars for the tweeters instead?

    Would probably look a lot better, I have mine done... and the staging in my car is quite good.

    because I am using Fountek NeoPro 5i's. they are ribbon tweeters that are quite large. (mounting flange is like 7" x 4.5")

    How do those sound? They arent my cup of tea, but Im just curious. MB Quarts are good too, if anyone cares :p

    Ah very cool... makes total sense then, thats probably the best spot in our vehicles for those tweeters, ribbon tweeters look pretty cool, I am really curious to hear some .

    I cut out the piece of door frame below the window defrost vents for some bigass cerwin vega tweeters
