it does need to be garaged, i imagine in another decade or so it will be a collector car, worth quite a bit

1g accord? damn talk about historic plates. nice car i wouldn t mind having one of those just to brag about ha.
steveDx's old car...enough said.
it looks almost exactly like the classic honda sitting in the local H dealership. this one has an emblem on the c pillar with a bird on it. i wanna get a pic of it, but i don't know if they would let me. i hope you find this accord a great home. you could sit and admire it all day from those pics you showed us. mmmmm, pwetty.
i had a civic once that had been converted from right hand drive, it had a chain that went under the dashboard to the left side. when you turned the wheel it turned the chain which turned the steering box input shaft. wish i still had it.
Man that's ghetto, but hey it worked right? I would hate to be driving it when the chain broke or slipped off!!! Yikes!Originally Posted by lostforawhile

it was factory. this was made before they were really imported that much. I believe it was a life rebadged as a civic.Originally Posted by phrenology

actually they had two cyl honda bike engines in most of them. i got to look at a 600 a while back, it's a goofy cross between a bike and a car. had a big fan like a vw to cool the bike engine. they were quite revveyOriginally Posted by A20A1

that car is wicked!!! a true classic, keep it!!!!
Man that is one clean 1gee. Very rare. Older than most members on this board.
if you ever sell it, you know where to find me!
seriously, i'd buy that now
Its funny you say that. I have 2 1G accord hatchys (79/Auto and 80/5sp) and 3 1g civics just like the one shown in the pictures. Im going to restore the 80/5sp. Both run, but the 80 needs a little work, im not finished with the engine work. It was my grandmothers before she died, she was the orginal owner and it has been sitting since 1994 but moved around once or twice since then. Like I said, im going to restore it and keep it as a family heirloom. I will have to get pictures for yall. I also have 2 1g 4door accords also, both autos. once is a RARE mint condition collectors item. Ill also get pictures of that. Here is a picture of one of the 1g preludes I have just sitting, it ran when parked. Im going to sell the car whole if possible. But all is orginal on this lude. I have 2 of theses. I told yall I had alot of collector cars if they were restored.Originally Posted by getready

I like the seatbelt sticking out from the bottom of the U13 Bluebird door next to it....
94 Altima [KA24DE, auto - 15.9]
94 Sentra SE-R [SR20DE, 55 shot - ??.??]
lol, yes, my mother is useless with her seatbelt. Ill give her some credit... her belt recoiler things are screwed so the belt wont retract.
unfortunately, i sold the 1G. i couldnt stand how gutless it was, and i needed a manual. that hondamatic was just too weird.
