Alot of people are inquiring for those B20A available in Montreal.
Before you ask anything, you should be aware of this:
There was only 1 shop that had the RIGHT B20A
He had 3 of them in stock, all AUTO
I got 1 88-89 (the only one available)
The other 2 are 86-87 (goldtop)
It doesn't really matter because it can be easily converted with your A20A parts (it can even be carbed)
The only problem is their condition.
I took the one that was best looking as a whole.
Here are the problems that I'm facing:
TPS is dead (broken in 2 pieces)
Dual runner diaphragm bracket is dead (broken in 2 also)
FPR has a hole in it (unsuable)
O2 sensor Shot
Oil pan is leaking (big hole due to mishandling)
Distributor is broken (missing chunks)
CYL sensor broken (also missing chunks)
PS Speed sensor is dead.
Ps Pump pulley is bent (unrepairable)
No ECU
Wire Harness is missing some parts
Various parts are dented
Milleage and compression unknown
NO WARRANTY
Now the fun part:
The 2 other B20A were not better looking. One was sitting on it's side ,almost upside down, on top os other Nissan engines. Another one was just sitting on top of the other engines.
Here is a picture of mine...
You can actually see the condition of the engines sitting there. The B20As are on top of that engine pile to the right.
If you are willing to completely rebuild your engine, measure everything and take your time, this engine might be for you. Be aware that if you don't do all the work by yourself, this engine will end up costing more than importing one in GOOD CONDITION from Australia or NZ
The rebuild cost of these engines will run around 1000 bucks.
Now you know what you are facing.
