    Stop, look, what's that sound?

With my rear H&R / Tokico blues, I get a sharp scraping sound when I go through a dip in the road (not a harsh bump) and it also happens occasionally when I turn right.

The sound comes from the rear left... and although it gets worse if someone is sitting in the back seat, I'm definately not bottoming out. And if the car is not moving and you just bounce the back end up and down, there is no noise.

I figure it's a long shot but has anyone had this strange noise under these conditions?
Perfection is simply a matter of replacing parts.

Have you checked to see if your tires are rubbing on the fenders? That can happen if you run wide tire/wheel combinations or offsets beyond the safe range.

i have front and rear mudflaps, and my front mudflaps literally sit about an inch off the road, so any big dip, i hear a scraping sound and its nothing but my flaps. the rear ones are positioned a lil higher so u will not scrape those. is ur car lowered?

jack ur car up and look underneat the floor pan and see if u got any scrapes, i have bad scrapes under my car, luckly my exhaust is in one piece, which is just mind boggling.

Why not just jack the car up and look underneath to see if anything is scraped? Also, check the top of the wheel well to see if the spring/shock is defective and the tire is rubbing.

Since it's only affecting one side, it can't be your setup (besides no one else with H&R + Tokicos has mentioned this problem).

    Hope this helps.

    Peace.
